Production Coordinator

Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, you will:

  • Coordinate and supervise the BSP plant’s production operations planning process
  • Supervise production activities and ensure compliance with production plans
  • Prepare work and production schedules and monitor project progress
  • Coordinate logistics between supply, production, engineering and sales departments
  • Work with other managers to prevent production interruptions
  • Handle requests from internal clients, such as suggestions, feedback or complaints
  • Ensure follow-up with and sharing of information between different departments
  • Develop and implement continuous improvements for existing processes
  • Work with the Continuous Improvement Coordinator to optimize production processes
  • Ensure your team is mobilized to achieve the company’s objectives and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction (internal and external)
  • Manage your personnel and ensure performance is monitored
  • Ensure a business culture that is focussed on maintaining quality standards, providing on-time delivery and compliant with health and safety standards and requirements

The ideal candidate must have the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree of DEC in Industrial Engineering or in Mechanical Engineering
  • 1 to 3 years of experience as a team manager (minimum 4 direct reports) in a manufacturing environment
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in the field of heavy trucks and construction machinery
  • ISO 9001 2015 quality control system experience
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite and IT tools
  • General knowledge in the field of mechanical assembly is an asset
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is essential, both spoken and written
