Preparing and installing the machine
- Read and interpret plans, diagrams and technical drawings to determine cutting specifications.
- Prepare and adjust the plasma cutting table according to requirements (thickness, type of metal, cutting path).
- Install and check cutting torches, nozzles, and other necessary components before each production.
Operation of plasma cutting machine
- Start and monitor the cutting process to ensure the machine is operating properly and parts are within specifications.
- Supervise the cutting of the material, check the quality of the cut, and adjust the parameters (speed, intensity, etc.) if necessary.
Quality control
- Visually inspect the cut parts for defects (burrs, poor cutting, etc.).
- Use measuring instruments (caliber, ruler, etc.) to verify that parts conform to the tolerances specified in the plans.
- Readjust the machine or correct errors if the parts produced do not meet quality standards.
Machine maintenance and servicing
- Ensure daily and preventive maintenance of the cutting table (replacement of consumables, cleaning of the machine).
- Monitor the condition of nozzles, torches, and other components and replace them as necessary to avoid malfunctions.
- Report any anomaly or need for repair to the foreman.
Materials and inventory management
- Ensure that the materials required for cutting (metal sheets, sheets, etc.) are available and stored correctly.
- Optimize the use of materials by reducing losses during cutting.
- Manage scrap and unusable parts in accordance with company procedures.

- Perfect mastery of the tape to be measured

Monday to Friday from 5 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
